Education Department Chandigarh Administration announced the date of written test for the post of Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) and Nursery Teachers (NTT)
.The complete schedule are as under-
For Nursery Teachers-
Date of Written Test-31.01.2015.
Time of Written Test-Paper-10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and Paper -2 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Date for downloading e-Admit Card-20.01.2015 to 29.01.2015.
Uploading Answer Key for objection by candidates-06.02.2015 to 10.02.2015.
For J.B.T. Teachers-
Date of Written Test-01.02.2015.
Time of Written Test-Paper-10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and Paper -2 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Date for downloading e-Admit Card-20.01.2015 to 30.01.2015.
Uploading Answer Key for objection by candidates-06.02.2015 to 10.02.2015.
Medium of Examination-The medium of examination will be English.However,questions of languages will be in respective language.
The starting date of application was 03.11.2014 and the last date for application was 25.11.2014.The detail of posts are as under-

Junior Basic Teachers (JBT)-489 Posts
General-235,OBC-177,SC 77,PH 13,Sports-21 Posts and Ex Serviceman-56 Posts
Age as on 01.01.2014-21 to 30 years.
Educational Qualifications- Graduation with at least 40% marks and 50% marks in 10+2 examination + Diploma in Basic Teacher Training of not less than 2 years duration OR
Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the CBSE.

Nursery Teachers (NTT)-103 Posts
General -55,OBC-32,SC16,PH 03,Sports-05 Posts and Ex Serviceman-12 Posts
Age as on 01.01.2014-18 to 27 years.
Educational Qualifications-50% marks in 10+2 examination + Diploma Certificate in NTT of not less than 2 years duration.
